Terms of Service

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Applyst. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

The Service

Applyst helps you track job applications, generate AI-assisted materials such as CVs and cover letters, score documents against job descriptions, discover roles, and optionally sync interview events to your Google Calendar. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

AI-generated content

AI features produce automated output based on the information you provide. This output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, and is not professional, legal, or career advice. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated material before you rely on or submit it.

Applyst does not guarantee any particular outcome from your job search, including interviews or offers.

Your content

You retain all rights to the content you upload or create in Applyst, such as your CVs, cover letters, and application notes. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate the Service and provide the features you request. We claim no ownership over your content.

Acceptable use

When using Applyst, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except as permitted by law.
• Submit content that infringes the rights of others or that you do not have the right to submit.

Subscriptions, billing, and AI usage

Core tracking features are available on a free plan. Paid plans and metered AI usage are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Prices and plan limits are shown at applyst.site/pricing and may change with notice.

You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain paid access until then. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a paid contract. For digital services, you may lose this right once performance begins, if you have expressly requested that we start immediately and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Third-party services and job listings

Applyst integrates with third-party services (such as Google, Stripe, AI providers, and external job sources) and may display job listings sourced from third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or accuracy, and your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory German law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Applyst is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or for injury to life, body, or health.

Termination

You may stop using and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to us. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
